Knitting is the new yoga. Find yourself meditating while making a kick ass set of yoga socks that will keep your feet and legs warm while you practice yoga with out loosing the grip you need from your heels and toes. Don’t do yoga but think these are super cute? Wear them anytime, while strutting around the house doing laundry, on a cool spring day, or even while you knit!


This pattern is knit in the round using double pointed needles. If you’re feeling frisky, you can try knitting both socks at the same time in magic loop. It is helpful to know how to knit, purl, e-loop, cast on and cast off.



Skill level: Advanced beginner
Suggested yarn: Brown Sheep Lanaloft Worsted
Yarn weight: Aran
Gauge: 20 stitches and 25 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Yardage: 120 - 160 yards (110 - 146 m)

Needle size: US 8 - 5.0 mm
